Frequently Asked Questions

3B Reusable Produce Bags

What is the size and how strong are your bags?

Each of our Reusable Produce Bag Packs contains 3 bags. Two of the bags measure 11" X 14", the larger bag in the middle measures 14.5" X 18.5". The bags can hold up to 22 lbs.

Can I wash my bag?

Yes! Our Reusable Produce Bags are either hand washable/rinse able and hang to dry, or you can place them in the washing machine and hang to dry.

What are the Reusable Produce Bags made out of?

They are made of 100% polyester.

Where are your Reusable Produce Bags made?

Our bags are now proudly made in the USA. Currently, our manufacturer is located in Massachusetts. Also, 3B bags is an American, family-run small business out of the Denver-Metro and Boulder, Colorado area. Previously, our bags were made in China, but we made the switch to US manufacturing to reduce our carbon footprint, support ethical labor, and improve the overall quality of our bags.

Have you had your fabric tested?

We have had our fabric and packaging tested by Intertek. Our fabric does not contain any of the chemicals listed in California’s Proposition 65 – no bisphenol-a (BPA), no heavy metals and no Phthalates (7 Phthalates). California’s Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to warn consumers of any products that contain chemicals that California determines to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. The current list of chemicals can be found at http://www.oehha.ca.gov/prop65/prop65_list/Newlist.html.

Are your Reusable Produce Bags eco-friendly?

A reusable produce bag can easily save over 1000 plastic produce bags in its lifetime. Once a plastic produce bag is pulled off the roll, they have a life of as long as it takes you to get home and unload your produce. While they are not made of a recycled fabric, they are a sustainable way to carry your produce and other items.

Can we store veggies and fruit in our 3B Bags?

The main purpose of our Reusable Produce Bags is for grocery shopping. We do not claim that they prolong the freshness of your produce and other items.

What happens to my bag once its useful life is over?

We don’t think it's right that our bags wind up in a landfill after years of use. You can send your bag back to us and we will take care of getting it recycled. Send to: 3B Bags Recycling Effort 9261 Prairie View Dr. Littleton, CO, 80126
